Nerd Dads: The Culmination of a Decade of Dumbassery

Ah, 1998: a year of astounding non-infamy – with the one miniscule exception that a tiny little website about comic books called 4-Color Review started hitting its lazy, half-assed stride.
Just a few short years later, the clowns running 4-Color got tired with complaining about comics, shut the site down, took an extended break from the internet to watch TV and play video games, cycled through a couple jobs, moved around, and eventually came back online with Kung Fu Rodeo, a catch-all pop culture blog of very, very minor infamy.
Of course, the normal cycle of web life would dictate that the next thing for us would be some sort of community-based, news-filtering, Web 2.0 iPhone cyber-app involving time-traveling robots with teleporting jetpacks . But no! We decided to all be completely ridiculous — and perhaps a little irresponsible — and loosen progeny upon the world.
So, here we are. As the now-older and still mildly functional Kung Fu Rodeo clops its way around the corral eating oats and apples, its days of toiling in the fields behind it, we turn to the next chapter in our internet lives: Nerd Dads.
It is here at Nerd Dads where our many obsessions – comics, video games, tv, movies, music, books, food, toys, sports – meet the most absorbing, time-consuming, frustrating, costly, and happy-rewarding-fun-time hobby of all time: kids. Hope you have as much fun reading it as we will putting it together.
