Amazon Giving Away Free MP3s

In celebration of their reaching one million followers on Twitter, Amazon has announced that they'll be giving away a $1.29 credit towards any MP3 purchase on their site through the end of day on September 6th. If your MP3 costs 79¢, then you'll still have 50¢ credit to use towards a second, so long as you buy it pretty much right away. Not a bad deal!

Here are a few Nerd Dads suggestions, if you're looking for some new kid music in order to replace whatever's been rattling around in your head for the last few weeks.

Pretty much any song from the Curious George soundtrack. Surprisingly good album, top to bottom!
Brats On The Beat: Ramones For Kids - The Kid™ has grown particularly fond of Rock 'n' Roll High School.
Here Come the 123's by They Might Be Giants. There's also No!, but Here Comie The 123's has TMBG's Mickey Mouse clubhouse theme song, which is almost always a hit around here.
The Sesame Street theme song. Really, this belongs on everyone's playlist, child or adult.
If you have a little girl, there's a good chance she likes Tinker Bell. Do yourself a favor and get the movie's theme song and leave the rest well enough alone.
