De Blieck Gets His Nerd Dad On

A friend of mine, Augie, is not only able to out nerd just about all of you, but just so happens to be a new father as well. Up until this point, however, he's been somewhat derelict in his duties in so far as nerding up his daughter's life. At least in my humble opinion.

I am happy to report, thought, that the Halloween spirit has loosened him up a bit, and he's taking the plunge into daddy/daughter nerdery! The next step is, of course, teaching the little one how to scream "Hulk Smash!" when she's having a tantrum.

I carved Tux the Linux penguin for my daughter's first Jack o Lantern. :). I'm learning!
