This tool apparently decided that "Dark Knight" was not only the awesomest movie to ever hit cinemas, but that it was so incredible it was worth leaving his 2 year old son in the car while he bought a ticket and watched the show.
David James Farnham, 23, of Salt Lake City, pleaded guilty in 3rd District Court to the Class A misdemeanor in connection with leaving his 2-year-old son, Justin, in a parked vehicle at a South Salt Lake movie theater while he attended a late screening of "The Dark Knight."
Police found Justin in the car around 1:30 a.m. on July 20 after a movie patron alerted authorities that the boy was alone, according to charging documents. He was found in his car seat, crying and sweating, the documents state.
Police stopped the screening to arrest Farnham, who told police he left his son in the car while he watched the movie because Justin was asleep, according to court documents.
The temperature inside the vehicle was estimated at 87 degrees when Justin was rescued, police said. The boy, who has recovered, was released to his mother.
Justin, I hope your mother shows better judgment in the future than she obviously had when she hooked up with your daddy.
