Citizens of the world, be warned - Japan has finished completion of their 1:1 scale Gundam! the 59 foot robot hero is currently overlooking the city of Odaiba and is apparently friendly. However, if there's one thing decades of robot movies has taught us, it's that this this thing could fall victim to a crossed wire or lightning strike at any moment, gain true sentience and begin a long and disastrous murderous rampage at any moment. Consider yourselves warned.
Presumably, the Gundam has been put into position in order to protect Japan's growing talking dog population.
Unlike the Gundam, however, the Bow-Lingual dog to human translator has been imported to the US! Well, that may be a bit of a mixed blessing - as much as I'd love to know what my dogs are thinking, I'm not sure how much "I want in, I want out, I like to lick my junk!" I could handle listening to every day. Then again, I could probably tape a few hours of footage of that and shop it around to some cable networks. I bet I'd land a TV deal inside of a week.

Seeing this makes me all the more annoyed that Michael Bay and company decided to redesign the robots for the Transformers movies. Those movies would still suck if the robots looked like this, but they'd at least give you that kick of recognition which was lost with the redesign.
Oh, and doood!
