God Help Us All: My Little Pony Spa To Open In Florida

Ignore this posts's original snarkiness - the spa's a place for families with children with life threatening diseases to go to, which I would have known if I had read the article more thoroughly and not been blinded by visions of sparkly plastic horses in my head. Color me chagrined.Parents of little girls beware: in addition to Disneyland/world/Epcot, Universal Studios and other theme parks draining your bank account, the newly announced My Little Pony Spa and Resort will have your wallet - and gag reflex - choking in short order.

The spa offers families "a whimsical environment where guest families can go to relax and get pampered" in the Give Kids the World Village, a non-profit organization which provides wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses.

The organization recently received more than $75,000 in donations through the My Little Pony Project: 25 Ponies for 25 Years, where limited-edition miniature versions of the Twinkle Hope pony were sold.

You don't have to worry about that one draining your wallet. It is part of the Give Kids the World Village, which is an organization that, as the article states, provides wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses. It is only available to guests of the Village and their families.

Now all I have to do is keep my daughter from feigning a life threatening illness to get in there... ;)

Also, Give Kids The World is completely cost free to the families that stay there. So it costs nothing to get your purple pony tattoo or princess hairdoo.
