Does the internet get any better than this? An enterprising soul has not only scoured YouTube for Christmas specials, commercials and other holiday themed clips, but they've also created a fantastic circa 1979 living room interface to watch them in. At a glance, the videos, fuzzed up by a totally appropriate rabbit-ear induced snow, seem to run the gamut from th 70s to at least the early 90s. You know you're getting older when a McDonald's commercial featuring the good old McDLT is considered nostalgic.
At any rate, my daughter and I are in the midst of watching "Frosty the Snowman, so I gotta go. Tip: if you can, select the Full Screen mode on the remote - the effect is simple, but awesomely effective.

This is absolutely awesome! I know what I'll be doing tonight when I get home. The kids will get to see the kind of Christmas their dad did back in the day.

To complete the experience, one of them's gonna have to stand over the monitor and wiggle some sort of rabbit ears.
