Henson Company Returns To Fraggle Rock With THE DOOZERS

It's a full year out, but the Jim Henson Company will be mounting a return expedition to Fraggle Rock in 2010 when they launch THE DOOZERS, in association with Decode Entertainment. There's not a lot of details yet, but we do know that it's going to be a 30 minute long animated CGI show rather than the traditional Henson Muppets, but hey, we'll take it.

Halle Stanford, executive VP of children's entertainment at The Jim Henson Company stated in announcing the project, "Who could forget the industrious little Doozers who wore hard hats as they cheerfully labored alongside the Fraggles? Now, the Doozers are back to inspire kids to make the world a better place by making smart, eco-friendly choices and by inventing tools, gadgets, buildings, structures and other technology that supports the environment's ecology."

Target audience is kids 4-7 years old, so The Kid™ will be right in there with the rest of the world as the Doozers teach and entertain. Between this, Sesame Street and the new Muppet Show comic book, it's a pretty good time to be a Henson fan.
