It's Heee-eeere - Kindle DX Released

OK, it's out. The Kindle DX has a 9.7" screen, is about the same thickness as a magazine and has a stupid name. It's got free 3G wireless abilities, a screen that rotates with the kindle for landscape viewing, a charge that lasts for up to 4 days with the wireless turned on and up to two weeks with it turned off. There's still no color and there's ony 16 shades of grey so comics are still probably not optimally viewed on it, but the thing just looks way nicer than it's smaller brethren.

And as illogical as I know it is, I find myself thinking, hey, this is pretty substantial feeling - maybe $9.99 for an ebook might just be worth it from time to time...
