So, I’m going through my monthly ritual of clicking through Discount Comic Book Service’s site to place my order, when I come across this listing for a new series of Mighty Muggs.

Characters from across the Marvel Universe have come together in this latest series of Marvel Mighty Muggs figures! Featuring a deformed, urban design, these figures stand 6′ tall and give these familiar characters a whole new look! With characters like Iron Man, the Skrull, the Vision, and Captain America to choose from, these figures are certain to bring some urban style to your collection!
A case runs $51.17, so I do some quick math – at about $11 a pop retail, plus tax and gas and I’m spending nearly $50 to buy all 4 anyhow, so…I’m going to order a case. Anyone want the extras?
NOTE: My daughter has just informed m that “Captain ‘Merica is booootifull!” Can’t get a much better product endorsement than that, Hasbro!

How many extras? I do like the old-school Shellhead and Cap. With this release, it just means that they’re one step closer to Iron Fist Mighty Muggs.

Yeah, how many extras? I’m definitely tempted. Of course, you’d have to box ‘em up and ship ‘em out again.

I don’t know – no clue if a case has 6, 8 or how many figs, and I have no idea what the mix will be. All I know is that I won’t be seeing them in my grubby little hands until late January at the earliest. I’ll be sure to post about them as soon as they get here though, b’lee dat!
