When I was a kid, Mr. Yuck was easily the most effective "Don't drink the Drano!" advice available. Sure, my parents would tell me not to do this or that because I'd hurt myself, but Mr. Yuck - that sucker was gonna make me sick, Sick, SICK! At any rate, it's a real shame that they don't seem to run the commercials during kids' television anymore, and they might have been a northeastern states phenomenon in the first place as near as I can tell - I'd love some clarification on that if you know otherwise. However, I did find out that you can get a free sheet of stickers by sending a self-addresses stamped envelope here:
Free Mr. Yuk Stickers
Pittsburgh Poison Center
3705 Fifth Ave.
Pittsburgh, PA 15213
And you can order 250 ten-sticker sheets for $25 at this web page. Seems a little pricey to me, but I don't see 10 free stickers lasting very long, so it's probably money well spent. Just be sure to sit your little ones down in front of the YouTube to watch the commercial a few times a week to let Mr. Yuck's message sink in and voila - instant 1970's Poison Protection!
