Nerd Dads Hall of Fame: iFart

Finally, now we can say the iPhone -- one of the most awesomest of awesome gadgets -- has been put to what any dad worth his salt would say is a legitimate practical use: replicating farts. Yes, the greatest iPhone app of all time is here, and it's called iFart.

Beyond the thrill of pressing a faux button to instantly hear such beautiful, resounding sounds cleverly labeled "Cut the Deck," "Bombardier," and "The Hammer," iFart also offers the user a couple different ways to pull fart-centric pranks (sorry Whoopee Cushion, you are now rendered inessential), email a fart to a pal, and, best of all, the ability to record your own fart for...posterity, I suppose...?

It will be one of the greatest dollars you will ever spend -- even just to get a glimpse of that weirdly satisfying wife/girlfriend/significant other look of disapproval.
