Oh, those zany Wiggles...
- This is cool, if prohibitively expensive at $50 a pop. the Wazabee 3DeeShell is a device that clips onto your iPhone/Touch and allows you to enjoy looking at stereoscopic images in 3D. Of course Wazabee also sells Apps that allow you to generate 3D images as well.
- It looks like the Dragonball live-action franchise is stillborn, with DRAGONBALL: EVOLUTION only sitting at 8,715,000 as of this writing, a week and a few days after it was released. I remember when this was easily the hottest anime property in the world, with bootlegs flowing freely in the Stats because the translated anime industry was still in it's early developmental years. I'd like to say it's hard to believe that Hollywood could screw up what should have been at the very least a successful cult franchise, but then again, we're probably just lucky that they've gotten as many adaptations as right as they have in recent years.
- In other comic book to movie news, it seems that the SCOTT PILGRIM flick is actively marketing itself to licensees. We're of an opinion here at Nerd Dads that the SP series is a bit of an overhyped hipster comic book phenomenon, but this if we owned a company that made t-shirts, air fresheners or iPod sleeves, we'd be all about getting Pilgrim's mug on our product. Millionaires it may not make you, but a few new hundred thousandaires may just be in the offing.
