Oh, Man - Tony Hawk: RIDE

There have always been video games that were marketed to a demographic different than mine, but Tony Hawk's new skateboarding game is the first one that I want to play but fear I may be too old to survive if I do. Just look at the controller!

I realize Hawk is even older than I am, but let's be realistic. The dude's a pro athlete, and I'm just a guy who's spent the better part of half of the last ten years working in front of a computer. Add to that the last few years of having a baby-then-toddler breaking me down physically and mentally, and Tony Hawk: RIDE is looking as intimidating as it does amazingly awesome.

Stop laughing - I know you're in the same boat, pally.

At any rate, this TH: RIDE is due out at the end of the year. Maybe I'll be proven wrong and it'll become a regular daily routine for Nerd Dads West to grind a few rails, but I fear hat won't be the case. Either way, enjoy the teaser trailer below.
