Over the course of it's life, PvP has gone from being a random gaming comic to one of the more professionally produced and, quite frankly, better looking strips online or off. The artwork is consistently strong, sometimes almost beautiful, and the writing, while a bit more uneven than the art, ranges from solid to great. The latest strip, essentially a review of STAR TREK, is probably one of my all time favorites.
While I, personally, didn't even come close to tearing up during the flick, I still get the joke and appreciate it. Even better, and this is one of the strengths of the internet that many print-only cartoonists will never get, the anecdote that Kurtz relates underneath the strip itself adds a dimension of depth to an already humorous and complete-in-itself strip.
Good job, man. Keep it up.
