Originally this was going to be a simple post about using the tooth bushes that play music in order to entice your toddler to allow you to brush your teeth - short version is, this seems to work fairly well - until I noticed that people are asking, and one assumes getting, ridiculous amounts of money for out of production models. I realize that anything is collectible, but the prices these seem to command are either complete pipe dreams on the parts of the sellers, or we're looking at the dawn of the next Beanie Baby craze.

Interestingly, as I read this, my wife is trying to get my almost-2-year-old to brush her teeth. I might have to check into this. Maybe there's an old macdonald model.
