What kid wouldn't love this idea for a bedroom design - just layer the entire wallspace with Lego bases and allow them to go crazy-go-nuts with the building! I think the green might be a bit much to handle, but hey, there's more Lego base colors than that to choose from. If you really wanted to go nuts, you could frame out the entire room around the baseboards, doors and windows with Lego trim, maybe add a windowsill here and there for some less-vertically challenged Lego creations, etc.
I don't see myself being quite that ambitious, but I could easily be persuaded to doing a smaller ersion of this project, maybe covering the bedroom or closet door in a similar fashion. I think that'd be plenty fun, too, and a hell of a lot cheaper to implement.
