The Ultimate WATCHMEN Collector's Edition DVD

It's too late to ask for it for Father's Day, but man does this Amazon Exclusive ever instill a desire to buy juuuust one more DVD for the collection. I appears as though it's a Blu-ray disc, but there is the good old Digital Copy if you haven't upgraded to Blu-ray yet but have to have this.

Which leads me to ask, has anyone yet sussed out a good reason why studios insist on including an entirely separate disc for the digital copy despite the fact that all you get is a code to download it from iTunes? Even if you don't care about adding extra plastic to the trash can, you still can't argue against the fact that it's just utterly wasteful and useless on every level.

At any rate, this is a 3-disc (2 if you don't count the ridiculous digital copy's disc) set with the 3-hour Director's Cut of the movie and a bunch of other stuff listed here.
