Somehow (probably the magic of DVRs in action), I've managed to miss out on the relatively recent phenomenon of Creepy Old Lady Ikea Commercials. I've been brought up to speed somewhat, since seeing one of them while visiting my parents in Florida last week and then googling around to see what the deal is. Not only am I not the only one to find them kind of creepy, but the woman "starring" in them, presumably representing some sort of physical manifestation of the commercial's "prime" actor's subconscious and not an evil spirit adversely influencing purchasing decisions, has become somewhat of a minor internet celebrity.
I can't find the one that I saw on TV that really kind of freaked me out, but the one below should give you a taste of the oddness involved in these.

Just a heads-up: Kung Fu Rodeo is listed as an attack site by google toolbar. Says some malicious downloads have come from there.

Yeah, I know. There's actually nothing wrong with KFR, but I've got a note into the technical support for my host to see what I can do to make Google stop telling people it's all evil and stuff.
